Dismantling Avent IQ help!

Hi I have an Avent IQ Uno breastpump and I cannot disassemble the rubber piece that joins the electric top for cleaning. If i pull, it will break. Does anyone else have this problem? What's the trick?

Did you get it? I had same problem, nearly threw the thing out the back door due to tantrum it created... Its the angle you pull it at. If the plastic seal is off... pull it down and towards the handle, you can tug quite hard.

solved. pump wasnt working properly. avent sent me a replacement which dismantles fine. if you have the same prob, call the company.
