My DS is 27 weeks and EBF until I started BLW a few weeks ago (which is going great guns) and in the last week I've noticed that almost every time I pick him up he seems to want to suck. He'll suck at whatever he can reach (chin, shoulder, arm) and always happy to have a go at the boob. I'm assuming that he's not always hungry and this is a comfort/developmental thing. A few other things have happened like finally getting the hang of rolling over last week. And although I'm not going back to work until next month the nanny has started and I've things to do so I've been spending a bit of time away from him during the day. He's also started waking up more in the night which is a bit worrying as the return to work looms.
I wondered if anyone else had experienced the same thing and if it stopped after a while? I'm going to start dropping daytime feeds soon, but plan to keep BFing at night after returning to work, so might it get worse?
