aptamil - posetting

yes definately - although my ds is 2 now i had lots of problems when first born and aptamil was the one that suited best ! wish it was around when i had dd (5 years ago) !!

Thanks for that! out of interest which other brands did you try before aptamil? did aptamil stop the posetting completly?

no, not anymore since they changed the formula (almost a year ago now). now I find it makes babies very sicky (and so do others on here).

I find cow & gate ORGANIC (not normal) the one which settles best in their stomachs at the moment.

sorry vstressed, I don't think my post was very clear. aptamil used to be really nice - non constipating, non sick making, well tolerated. about a year ago they changed the formulation, and hugely increased the amount of probiotics in it. now lots of people find that it makes their babies sicky and very runny pooed and a bit crampty and unsettled in the stomach.

after using aptamil with my babies no 2 and 3, my baby no 4 (now 8 mths) was very unhappy on aptamil. I tried various others (inc sma and cow and gate premium) and cow and gate organic was the best. have had no problems with it.
