Breast to bottle - help!

I've been bfing my 5 1/2 wk old dd since the beginning with no probs and am now re-commencing a class on Monday nights - only from 6-9pm but long enough away that I'll have to leave dh with a supply of expressed milk.

No probs expressing - flow & amount was good - only prob was that I found it upsetting (am one of these people who feels very bonded with my baby and am so grateful to be breastfeeding with no problems) HOWEVER dd absolutely refused to take the bottle and got herself in a proper state over it. DH tried her on it, I tried her on it and it was just awful, she was howling. So of course that distressed me too.

I would rather never return to class than to have her so upset, but feel I need to at least give this a shot - it's only one night a week after all. Has anyone experienced this and can you give me any tips on how to encourage dd to take the bottle?

TIA.

What bottle/teat combo are you trying?
