Can you make the feeds up in advance and store them in the fridge? It doesnt say you can, says you have to use it within an hour on the tub. Cant be faffing around like that all the time! Your replies would be most welcome

I use the blue tub (number one i think) - DS is 4 months old. We use to make DDs bottles up using SMA gold but this makes DS windy hence the Aptimil.

it does say you can mandymoo - you can make the feeds in advance and use them up to 24 hours later.Boil the kettle, let it cool and about 40 mins later decant into the bottles then add one level spoon of formula per fluid ounce. Shake, cool in a cold bowl of water hten refridgerate.

Yes i use the blue one & have with both of my kids after breast feeding because SMA always made mine really sick.

I make them up & store them in the fridge when they have called down, i only store them for 24 hrs by this time dd has had them all anyway ]

If you are concerned why not invest in those containers that you measure out the fomula into. Make up bottles of water then just before you need it add the premeasured formula shake and away you go.

Current guidelines on making up formula preclude making feeds up in advance, om safety grounds. They have to made up individually, with water that has been freshly boiled and then cooled to 70 deg C.
