Feeding less waking more!

Hi there,

My 12 week old has never been a hungry baby but was taking regular 4oz feeds every 3 hours and was starting to increase to 5oz, but has now for the last week or two gone back to having anywhere between 1-3oz each feed but is still going 3 hours between feeds and refuses to take any more or to feed more frequently!

I spoke to my health visitor who wasnt concerned as she is still gaining weight any is fine in herself.

The other problem is now that she has reduced the amount of formula she is getting during the day she is now waking twice in the night, before she only woke once around 4am which she had been doing for a while!

Has anyone else had this problem, any suggestions??

ds is bf, he started waking in the night more after only been up once at around 13 weeks, he has still not started sleeping for more than 4 hour at a time, he is coming up to 21 weeks.

Thanks for your responses, at least I know I am not on my own! Looks like something I just have to accept and hope it gets better soon as waking twice a night is so tiring!!
