Hi Ladies, my 15 week old boy suffers terrible wind (farts) and always has, however, it seems to be getting worse and wakes him frequently, he does sometimes manage to settle himself again but he seems to really strain these days, although he suffers day and night its the night time that it seems to bother him more! He can be sound a sleep from a bottle I put him down and he starts writhing and straining. Poo is normal.
Is there anything we can give him to help ease this? We tried infacol for at least 2 months but it didn't appear to do anything?

Thank you :-)

Have you tried gripe water? Boots one was good for us

No its on my list of things to buy in boots lol - did you notice a big difference? did it stop the wind or just ease it through so it was less of a struggle for them?

It helped a tiny little bit but my DD had allergy to cows milk, egg soya and wheat which we found about later and had been causing the huge load of gas!

Oh no what a pain! I guess in terms of allergies I wont find these out for a little while yet - I hope the gripe water helps. I am lucky that he doesn't scream or cry with the pain just loudly strains!
