Are sticky nipples that look sort of oily at 30 weeks pregnant normal? My breasts smell sort of sweet. The rational part of my brain is telling me it's probably colostrum but I don't want to seem an idiot asking my midwifes. Also, the fact my breasts haven't change size at all, will this impact breastfeeding. Thanks x

Hi,
Yes that will be colostrum. As log as it's clear and doesn't smell bad then I wouldn't worry. It will continue thoughtout your pregnancy now most probably. So, my boobs never changed size in pregnancy much but are very different now after 6 weeks of combination feeding, they changed pretty quickly after the birth :) everyone is different though x
