Saving warmed milk

DD(10mo) is now on a cup of cows milk in the day (br-f other times). Some days she drinks half a cup (what I put in there), other times it's just a small amount. It only goes in the microwave for 20s to take off the chill from the fridge. I've just been ditching the unused milk, such a waste (I'm allergic so can't drink it up myself and ds(3) always says no!). I'm so tempted to put it back in the fridge for later on in the day, but haven't as I didn't think you should do this.

Just wanted to hear from you - can you put slightly warmed milk back in the fridge, to be used later in the day (probably reheated), or is this asking for trouble!? TIA

No I definately wouldn't do it - once you warm it bugs will start to grow, and they don't stop growing altogether in the fridge either. I think you are asking for trouble.

Thanks, yes, I thought so, but just needed it confirmed (you know, since losing all my braincells after pg!). Will make up a smaller cup I think! Thanks
