Switching formula?

I seen to be posting on here a lot. So thanks to all the help.

My baby is 6 weeks old combination fed. He is currently on aptimal. Can I change his brand? Does he need to be weened from one to the other? My midwife said they were all the same so seems silly paying £2 extra a tub and extra for ready made if they're all the same. If aptimal is better for the price difference then I will keep him on that.

Baby f are more or less the same- they're so heavily regulated that there isn't much room for difference. That said anecdotally I've heard mums say that their baby gets on better with one over another but no one brand stands out as "best"- you may as well give the cheaper ones a go.
