Lactation cookies recipe

A dear friend is working very hard to bring in her milk for her newborn after a difficult birth and an extended stay in hospital, so I would like to make some lactation cookies for her. There are lots of recipes on Google but does anyone have a tried and tested one that they would recommend?

Wow, this is a blast from the past when I had a lot more time on my hands!

I’m sorry to say that no, there was no noticeable impact @shininglight16 . I quickly realised that including enough fenugreek to have any possible effect would make them absolutely inedible. My advice would be to make some oat-based normal cookies which actually taste nice as a one-handed breastfeeding snack and for the lactating mother to take a fenugreek supplement (as long as she doesn’t mind her milk and sweat smelling faintly of fenugreek).
