Hi my baby girl is 12 week old and ebf.... She usually feeds ok with out problems. But the last 2 days it's bin like a battle at feeding times as she keeps crying and pulling away! Which is very unusual for her.I know Thier isn't a problem with my supply as the milk squirts out!, in between feeds she is still content and sleeping well at night so I've no idea what's wrong??

If anyone as any advice it would be great thanks

Could it be wind or reflux? My 10wo does this occasionally and is usually followed by vomit. Maybe she's trying to tell you something isn't quite right.

Is she crying right away as soon as she starts feeding, or after a few minutes? If right away, the milk might be coming out too fast for her and expressing the first bit before putting her on might help. If after a few minutes or so, it could be wind as mentioned above, and having a break to wind her should help.

Or, could be oral thrush.. Check inside her mouth for whiteness.

It could be wind ... She's doing it before she even latches on then when eventually she's on keeps pulling away?

Thanks for the replys

Are you feeding on demand or at set times?

Rachellouise83 · 08/06/2014 17:30

Feed on demand.. It could be because it's coming to fast so I've tried lying down and she seems to fine, strange how only just started though when I've Always sat up to feed her
