And it makes me so sad! DS is 10 months so have far exceeded my 'goal'. And I know I'd feel sad whenever it came to an end. Stopping for no absolute reason, but small reasons/obstacles added up and have decided that's ok.
Couldn't bear the drama (my own) of 'one last feed' so decided tonight that yesterday's was it. He doesn't mind and hopefully my boobs won't either. I'm so proud of us, it was tough at the start.

No replies necessary, just getting it off my chest, so to speak!

Well done for getting as far as you have. I understand your feelings.

My DS is 8 months and I've got real mixed emotions about ending breast feeding. I'm looking forward to it in respect to getting more freedom, him no longer being reliant on just me but also I'm so sad too as he is definitely my last baby (DC2) I know his last feed will be my last 'ever' feed. Ahhhh I feel teary now just thinking about it!

Thanks you guys! Maybe now the weight that didn't fall off me during BF will now miraculously vanish. That'd be a plus...
