Expressed breast milk

Is it really wrong to give expressed milk to another child other than the baby who is currently breastfed?

Whilst staying with DM a few months ago I gave some to DS1 on cereal as the only other option was skimmed milk and at the time was made to feel like it was almost barbaric! Apparently 'it's not meant for him'. I have avoided giving it to him since then but I do think about it from time to time and wonder if it really is that wrong? DS1 is only 2yo, surely it wouldn't be any different to cows milk?

Time to roll your eyes at your DM like a teenager.

Not all wierd, particularly as we have no idea what is biologically normal for children to stop feeding.

This article is lovely www.naturalchild.org/guest/ruth_kamnitzer.html

That's crazy! Humans aren't really supposed to drink cow's milk...it's for baby cows. It is totally normal, natural, and much better for him than cow's milk.

Stinky processed pile of old poo (the skimmed cow's milk). I wouldn't want breastmilk on my cereal at 33 years of age (not sure of the reason why) but I do see that it is more natural to drink the milk from our own species than another. And I love cow's milk :-)
