12 wk ds fighting with bf

Any advice welcome my 12 week old ds is fighting is everytime he feeds, he kicks his left, scratches, nips and is constantly pulling off even though he isn't finished. Suggestions would be great thx

How long has he done this for? If it's a new thing it might be because he's getting more distractable as he becomes more aware of the world around him.

Is he feeding more frequently too?

I'm afraid this is what DSs do at this age. I think DDs do it too, but I have only bfed DSs

thanks for your responses he has only just started to do this. he isn't really feeding any extra. the only thing is he is really strong for his age can support his own weight on his legs and its getting difficult when he digs his heels in and arches his back.
