BF to bottle with breast milk help

Hi I've been BF my DS for six weeks but have had Mastitis three times. My DS has got thrush from me taking the antibiotics and the evening feeds I'm struggling with as my nipples are so sore. I want to try putting DS onto bottle for the evening feed with breast milk in it but am not sure when the best time to express is.

DS had a bottle of breast milk in week 2 (three times a day) due to my breast being so sore but hasn't had a bottle since. This week I have been collecting milk in shells when feeding and have an electric pump but am unsure when to pump and for how long.

I breastfeed but have given a few bottles so dd knows what to do and i have a stash of milk in the freezer for backup.
I think you have most milk in a morning so if you can, thats a good time to express. If you then give a bottle in the eve you will probably need to express sometime after as your boobs will be expecting a feed (otherwise like me you could be awake at stupid o clock in agony because they are so full) Length is an unknown....just keep going until the milk flow seems to be tailing off.
I find expressing tough and don't get as much as i think i could sometimes. You need to make sure you are relaxed and not thinking about it. Its good to think about your baby or be sat next to him as this will help stimulate your flow.
Am sure some more experienced people will give better advice but good luck.

Thanks Roxie85 great advice :) Would you express before a morning feed or just after? If you express before a morning feed will the breast stillnproduce enough to satisfy DS?
