Hi. He was ebf for first couple of months, then 1xformula bottle a day. As he weaned into food he moved to 1x bf first thing in the morning, then during the day as he wished, bottle at night (so OH and I could take turns). He's been teething and had endless ear infections, which have disrupted his desire to BF....and now he's had nothing for about 14 days. I left it for a while, but would like to reintroduce if I can....but he HATES it when I offer. Turns his head, claws me away, shrieks, crys, tries to wriggle off my lap I've tried different positions (sitting; sitting rugby ball; lying down with him on top of me), I've tried allowing him to take his time and find it himself on several occasions (ends in nipple tweak, nipple yank, raspberry on boob), I've tried wearing him in a sling (he hates vein restricted, wants to get on the floor and crawl), and I've tried feeding him when he's drowsy (first after a bottle, but he wises up really quickly, and gets cross and cries. A lot.) and then as a dream feed (nothing. Didn't respond at all). I still have milk, and have tried hand expressing onto his lips, and also my finger to wipe onto his lips. Again, nothing.

Any other suggestions? Is it over?

Curious bump.

Will he drink ebm from a cup or bottle?
Is it a pain thing, does calpol help?

Not much help but just to say on day 11 at 10 months old DD finally accepted breast again.

Did everything you describe here and just offered that morning and she took it like nothing was wrong :I
