Expressing help , it all seems new again !!

Ok , havent done this for like 3yrs , managed today to get 2oz off the side I fed on earlier as have been very very engorged and in pain. Im wanting to express for a feed later , Ive just fed at 6:00 on the left side , I assume I express now on the right side?? Does this mean that when I feed at say 9:00 I feed from the left again???? Im so confused and it doesnt take much !! dd2 is 2weeks old and feeding like mad !!

I always fed on the side that I just expressed. So at 9pm feed, feed on the right. As you aren't as efficient with the pump as the baby is. At least that is how I did my two -- but I didn't end up expressing much (too lazy )

Try expressing on one side when you feed on the other - I find you get loads that way (though it can make a bit of a mess ). Don't worry too much about swapping every time as long as you are sure you're using both sides quite a lot.

ok interesting , IM sitting here trying to visualise how to feed and pump and same time.

Im not sure about expressing from side ive fed on , as dd took the 2oz I expressed in afew moinutes form the bottle and then when I came in , she fed on me for a further 20mins!!!

IM doing this for 11-12 pm bottle so I can go to bed, Im feeding during the night every 3hrs and getting a bit frazzled , as have every ailment & medication under the sun !!

If I start to express now , can I then put it in fridge with all gubbins attached and add to it at feed , if feeling brave about trying dual feed and pump !!???
