When does the nipple tingling stop?

DS is 8 weeks today and the nipple tingling is still going on.

Whenever he cries I get this painful sensation in my nipples, almost like they are tightening or being twisted by a pair of pliers!! Then it kind of feels like I'm having little electric shocks going through them.

I thought this was only supposed to happen in the first few weeks?

When DS starts crying my DH will try and soothe him for a bit and in my head I'm screaming, "Just give me the baby because you have no idea how much this sensation f*ing hurts!!" Grin

I was only getting it occasionally by 8wks, maybe once or twice a day. Still getting it now, 10wks, i found pressing on my nipples helps it go quicker.

Dd is 5 nearly 6 months and I still get it sometimes. Makes me grit my teeth. Sometimes it's not too bad though. Had the same painful letdown wit ds but didn't feed him for as long. I'm assuming I'm stuck with it now.
