NHS Breastfeeding workshops....

Just quiering whether these are worth going to? The NHS offers a class at about 28 weeks pregnant and I can't decide whether it's worth going to. Would it be better do go to a breastfeeding support group such as those run by sure start / breastfriends instead?

Thanks in advance

If you can, do them all. I wish I'd had more information and support in place. We got a leaflet and a DVD showing women peacefully feeding their newborns. It would have been nice to be better prepared.

I didnt and I really wish I had!

I didn't and don't wish I had tbh. Not sure what I could have learned there that I didn't learn from books/internet.

I learned it all from the internet and books too, but after the fact. I wish I had forced myself to go to the workshop, knitted boobs and all as in reality it was all very different to what I'd read, thinking 'Oh I dont need to research that much, it will be fine, its natural'
