Help bottle refusing and cup refusing!!

Oh mummies I'm at the end of my tether! My 4.5 month old completely refuses bottles (I've tried avent nuby mam and dr browns) so I tried the tommee tippee sippy cup also with no luck! I'm getting to the stage where I just can't bf any longer for my own sanity does anyone have advice there must be something I can do?

It took until 6 months to get DS to take one. It was NUK. The teat was smeared in breast milk, warm bm inside and he was very hungry.

I took tips from the baby book and the website kellymom. You may have to keep going and go to a cup in due course.

Are you very sleep deprived? They do regress at 4 months. Are you longing for your partner to take a turn at feeding or a night out? It's so tough when you have a bottle refuser.

Marking place as I'm having the same worry with DS (nearly 5 mo). Stepmother is treating me and SIL to a spa day in less than a month. I'll need to leave DS with ebm and DH for about 12 hours! Never left him before and he's never accepted ebm. Going back to work three days a week in July so got to get him ready by then and no idea how to go about it. Hopefully someone will be along to help us soon!

You carry on BFing at 6 months you give them yoghurt and they stop wanting to BF quite so continuously.

Introducing solid food can make a big difference. If you go back to work at 8 to 9 months ish then bfed babies can often go through a day at childcare with just solids and water. They often do extra feeds in the evening to compensate.
