My DD is nearly 4 and half weeks old but during the day she constantly wants to feed. After an awful start breast feeding we've moved to expressing then formula now my supply had all but dried up. Once she went on the formula she fed every 3 hours but the last few days it's been every 2 hours. For example today she took 45 -60 mins to finish a bottle, about 150-160 ml, (she keeps falling asleep, I changed her half way through and did everything to try and keep her awake) about an hour later she wanted more.

I don't know what to do. I know people say you can't over feed babies but 150ml every 2 hours seems a lot to me?

Sounds like a growth spurt!

I second growth spurt, I formula fed on demand and ranged from 2-4 hrs during the day, then settled to every 3 hrs.

Mine is a week older and doing the same. It's totally normal. Difficult to get out and about when they want to feed all of the time!

Thank you. I just feel like take 1 step forward and three back!

Yup! I am finding it tough to entertain my toddler with all the feeding.
