Breast pump hire

Hi can anyone tell me the best place and cheapest to hire a double breast pump - everything I have searched seems to be around £50 per month is this about right? Or is there cheaper out there that I can't find....

Thanks in advance :)

I hired one (Medela Symphony) from the NCT for £40 a month. I think some hospitals rent them. Maybe try calling the Infant Feeding Specialist at your local hospital? The midwife unit or your HV would have her number.

Thanks I will try that, we live in the sticks 40miles away from hospital so unsure if they would hire but will give them a try, there didn't seem much help when I had first daughter, or maybe I was just too soft / vulnerable to push the topic further

Is there a big regional teaching hospital to try too? The local one may not have an Infant Feeding specialist.

Have you called all the bf helplines? NCT, LLL, ABM, etc?

Ana wiz Ltd is the cheapest I could find at £30 a month.

Our hospital charges £40 a month, seems pretty standard

In my area Sure Start centres loan them out for free. Might be worth a try

Perfect ladies thanks for your help, we have a sure start 12miles away so will contact them, and if not I will try hospital, I'm not requiring it quiet just yet but just want to be a little prepared and have some knowledge of what's where and how much before getting to the desperation stage like last time and give up and resort to formula. Thanks again ladies for your help it is invaluable :)
