Feeding question

It's me again. Would you drop a bottle at 15 weeks?

DS2 is 15 wo and currently has 5 x 8oz bottles a day. The only reason he has 5 is because I thought he was a little young to only have 4. He doesn't cry for a bottle he just sucks his fists a bit more than normal..

He is 18lb 5oz and on the 98th centile so rather a large baby.

Shall I just stick to every 3 hours? Or try and get him to 4?

Screw that. I've only gone 3hr 15min and he's started screaming!

Crying is one of the last hunger cues. This article is aimed more at bfing mums but still explains the cues very well Smile

At this age he should be having roughly 2.5 floz of first stage formula every day, so that's about 36 floz in 24 hours.

If he's happy being fed every 3 hours, I'd just stick to that for a while Smile
