poorly ebf 8 month old & supply concern

Ds is 8 months, weaning was going well but he has had an awful cold for 4 days now. Not eating much, not bf much as blocked up nose makes it difficult for him I think. He is taking water from a cup but refuses milk from it. Does anyone know if my supply will be affected? Should I be expressing? I'm not sore or engorged yet Hmm

My gut feeling (I am not trained) is that at 8 months your supply is established so there shouldn't be any need to worry. I've noticed that my 10 month DD's appetite for both food and milk can be quite variable - some days very hungry for food and not so bothered by milk and can be the opposite on other days. I think its quite normal and my boobs seem to just cope.
(Oh and I've never had the sore/engorged feeling after about 4/5 months even when she's been at grandparents for a long day and maybe missed 3/4 feeds)

Thank you bouncinbean I've in only felt engorged recently when he's been on a growth spurt & fed like a loon for days on end then suddenly slowed down Grin . I guess my boobs should know what they're doing by now even if I don't!
