Chloramphenicol and breastfeeding

Hello,

I have been taking this since Wednesday as I got a nasty eye infection which In the end went to both eyes. Since then my supply has been so low. I have just googled it and after being reassured this was safe in breastfeeding mums, it appears it really isn't and can lower supply.

Anyone had experience of this? Stopping it now and hoping supply will come back. DS is 8 months.

Hi, I had chloramphenicol for an eye infection. I used it for a few days and didn't notice any difference with my supply but then that was when DS was 8 weeks and feeding ALL the time...
