Would there be any ill effect from 9wk DD not feeding for 15 hours yesterday?

Had the day from hell yesterday, DD was really unsettled and wouldn't feed, couldn't work out what was wrong with her. Eventually DH gave her some gripe water, she did some massive burps, relaxed and conked out. When she did wake up and feed it had been 15 hours since the last feed. I didn't get a wink of sleep, kept having to check her lips weren't dry and her fontanelles not sunken! She seems fine today, eating lots and pooing and weeing but of course I'm still worried!

She sounds like she's made a good recovery. I wouldn't worry unless it happens again.

The poor mite. I'm sure she will be fine. When DS was tiny he once slept for 13 hours. I sadly didn't make the most of it and catch up on sleep myself as I was forever checking him, DH had to stop me waking him up as I was so worried, lol.

My boy did something siliar at about the same age. Hes fine, he just had an off day. I was rather uncomfortable full tho- ouch. Hope you have a more normal day tomorow

my ds is 8 weeks and sleeps for 11 and a half hours? should he not be doing this?

nappyaddict hope I haven't worried you. If that's normal for your ds then I'm sure it's absolutely fine (wonderful in fact). My dd normally feeds every 3 - 4.5hrs day and night so such a long stretch wasn't normal for her.
