Basically had a really rubbish start to breastfeeding LO is now 8. Weeks old and still doesn't transfer milk, starting from day 1 firstly my first latch on was excruitiating I bled everywhere split like crazy had to stop(have bf 4 other babies no problem with latch etc) so resorted to pumpin for first couple days then put her bk to breast and struggled on thru the pain and a bout of thrush :( for 3 weeks. LC's all said latch was fine and checked for TT at this point she had lost a lot of weight was told no tie, milk supply was now very low was advised to put her to breast more often yet she was already attached pretty much 24/7 and milk continued to decrease turns out she wasn't taking milk and if she did only about 10mls so went bk to pumpin and have now got a really good supply and at 5 weeks she was diognosed with a posterior TT(missed on first check yet been told its a very severe tie is heart AND spade shapped and only had approx 15% movement) has now been released yet she is still making me sore(am assuming she's gettin used to new tongue) and not transferring any more milk! So basically has anyone ever had this much trouble trying to bf her latch has been checked like a hundred times and is fine and she sucks a whole bottle of EBM pretty quickly so I am now at a loss on what to try to get her to breast I jus want to bf and am so very fed up off pumpin its takin over my life and I want to spend my time nursing my LO properly :(
