Different sized breasts!!!

I'm exclusively breastfeeding my now 5 week old. Going well, latching on fine, she's putting on weight, no pain etc etc......but noticed one breast has now become noticeably bigger than the other. My husband says u can see it to. When my baby feeds on the smaller one she sometimes takes longer (usually at night time) and swallowing isn't as loud, compared to the larger breast where u can clearly hear her gulping down the milk. So the bigger breast has a faster flow n I assume more milk. I always feed on both sides, unless I fall asleep at night feeds.
Has anyone else had the same and will they become the same size again after I finish bf. I feel abnormal at the moment!

I started pumping the larger one cos it was easier. I fed from the smaller one. The milk quality is the same, mind. I found that if dd was v hungry, big boob (left) was needed, if sleepy, small boob(right). Big boob has a little more in it, and so flows faster. Small boob has a more relaxing less choky flow Grin

They are different sizes, I think its normal. You can equalise them by feeding more from small boob which encourages it to produce more milk. By always feeding from big boob you are increasing demand on that boob, and so it should theoretically expand exponentially. Or so my DP hopes/told me.

Has anyone noticed? I was always concerned people could tell, but my dear dear sister said she only noticed they were wonky when I pointed it out. bitch could have lied to me Smile
