For those of you who use a goat's milk formula, you may wish to do some stock piling! All goat's milk formula will be withdrawn from the UK by the 17th September. I'm not sure if this link will be publicly accessible, but this is the letter going to all health visitors in the next few days. Basically the EU Food Safety Agency has decided that there is no evidence that goat's milk is suitable for babies, or that it is better for lactose intolerant babies or those with an allergy to cows milk. Because of this it will shortly become illegal to sell goat's milk formula in the UK.
