Hi dd is 14 months old and bf 4 times in a 24 hour period. Does she need cows milk in a cup as well? If so how and how often? TIA

Nope. Not needed.

curiousuze · 17/04/2014 08:09

Agreed - not necessary. Especially if your baby is eating things like yoghurt and cheese as well.

Wishfulmakeupping · 17/04/2014 08:14

Yes she does have yogurt and cheese most days , sometimes cows milk in cereal too

I agree. If she knows how to use a cup (water) then there's no need for milk in it.

My children have never drunk cows milk, no eaten any dairy- ever, no cheese, butter yogurt. their choice, they think dairy is rank. My son is now 6'3" tall, my DD 5'7".

If your children are having human milk there is no need for animal milk, and calcium is found in many other foods. many cultures don't use animal milk or eat any dairy.
