I currently have thrush and I have the cream, baby mouth gel and fluconazole. How long will it take before the pain reduces/goes away?

Just seen this - when I had it I started to feel better within about 24 hours and much much better after a few days so hope you are already on the mend.

Thank you for the response, unfortunately though I seem to be worse. Now had to stop feeding due to the pain and I am using all the treatment options I have available at the moment. I think I am going to have to try something else.

So worried that this is going to mean to end of me breast feeding.

Oh no you poor thing. Am on phone so not easy to find but have you seen the breastfeeding network paper on thrush it has lots of ideas.
I will link in the morning.
Hang in there I am several months down the line now and can barely remember the pain!

Oh I just thought - the deep pain went quicker than nipple pain - I found BFN paper good for advice on healing.
If that's the main pain it will take a while
