Good morning.

I am just wondering if anyone has had any experience with nutramigen milk?

My little boy is 8 weeks old and has been crying after feeds started being sick and passing motions sometimes upto 15 times a day. He also has swollen eyes, dry skin and sometimes after feeds sounds to be having trouble feeding. my hv suggested this milk as we have tried everything. Infacol, dentinox, colief, gaviscon, gripe water. You name we've had it. The Dr won't prescribe it as she says it's just colic. I have gone with what I think and ordered some over the counter. So I was wondering whether anyone else's little one has suffered with similar symptoms and has this milk and has helped.

Sounds like a cow's milk allergy, I've seen this often in colicky babies. The doctor can't assume this or test for it until the typical time for colic is over (after 12 weeks). Your HV sounds pretty clued up though. Nutramigen milk is a cow's milk allergy formula. Just keep your HV & doctor informed of what you're doing. I hope you get good results, and your baby settles. Good luck.
