Loss of appetite when teething?

My 18 week DD is formula fed and has been showing signs of teething for a few weeks but seems especially bad today, with red hot cheeks, very dribbly and biting on her hand. She generally drinks 6-7oz 5 times a day but today and yesterday is only really managing 3-4oz per bottle, but she did get up for an extra feed in the night. Do you think this is anything to be concerned about? I don't want her getting dehydrated or anything and it's a real struggle every time I feed her with her just wanting to chew on the teat Sad

Loss of appetite is very common with teething. As long as she's still having wet nappies I wouldn't worry- it will soon pass. If she stops having wet nappies then pop along to your GP, who can give you advice.

Apart from specially-made teething toys/rings, you can also get Teetha powder, which is chamomile based, to help soothe her.
