Whereabouts are you? This doctor is based in Windsor www.tonguetie.co.uk/ My son's tie was eventually divided on the NHS at King's in London.

I'm in Bristol. I have found the website of someone who'll do it in Cardiff but surely there must be someone closer?!

Sorry I can't help but I hope you find someone quickly - made all the difference for us.

We've just seen Louise Beland at the Wallingford Therapy Centre on Oxfordshire for our son's tt. She has a lot of patient referrals from Swindon, apparently, so might not be too far for you?

Homebirthquestion · 23/03/2014 21:04

An independent midwife came to my home and did it. Google some for your area.

YoniMitchell · 23/03/2014 21:07

We we're told we couldn't have it divided on the NHS, but at the same time the midwife and health visitors we saw we're totally useless at helping us find a solution elsewhere, despite piling on pressure for me to breast feed, which was impossible with my son's degree of tt. We eventually got a recommendation from friends who had seen Louise for their baby. The NHS attitude was a joke in our experience.

Hope you get it sorted soon!

Just to add to this thread, we saw Louise today, she is now based in Dorchester on Thames, close to Abingdon.

Our 2 week old daughter has already improved beyond belief sopince having her tongue tie cut less than 12 hours ago.
