18mo started biting nipple to latch on?

It flippin hurts! Basically he does it to 'secure' the nipple with his teeth first and then gets comfy and feeds.

I dont even know how to stop, so any other advice? tia x

I know the feeling...ouch! I have an adorable 13 month old who experimented with that when he was 6 months old. What worked with us was the moment he bit me I responded right away with a flick on the cheek and saying "no bite". That might sound evil, but after a couple times of needing a flick, he has not attempted to bite me again to this day :)
