Nearly 8 weeks old how long they feed?

My DD is nearly 8 weeks old and still feeds a lot! Including hours of cluster feeding before I give in and give her a top up bottle at night before bed. Soooooo I'm just wondering what other people's babies are doing at around this age?

Fluff, I know it is exhausting but honestly it won't last forever. I think DS had stopped evening cluster feeding by about 10 weeks.

I hate to say it but you might be shooting yourself in the foot a little with the formula top up. Cluster feeding happens to increase supply. By topping up you're sort of interfering in that process and so the cluster feeding might continue (if DS isn't getting the volume of bm at that time he'll keep cluster feeding til he does). Just a thought - the pain might be over faster if you just go with the flow!

Can you feed lying down? I didn't master this til DS was much older but wish I had. Try to just relax, read a book or watch some tv while he is doing it. Don't fret about getting him off the breast.
