Which milk to use?

Hi,

I am currently weaning breastfed Ds and got to the point I would like to add milk to cereals and meals made for him. With my Dd I always used cows milk from 6 months in both pf these as I thought this was ok. But from reading threads on her not sure if I should be using formula instead as expressing milk is useless for me.

Any advice please?

Cows milk is fine on cereal or in food from 6 months just not as a drink because is doesn't contain as many nutrients as breast or formula milk.

The advice I had for my DD who is now 20months is that cows milk can be used with meals eg on cereal etc fro
6 months but not as a main drink until 12 months,

Sorry didn't see PP

Thank you. That's what I thought but just worried a bit with people saying it was difficult to digest.

I would imagine food is just as difficult to digest - just think of it as another weaning food
