My one week old breastfeeds constantly throughout the night and sleeps all day long. I am sore and exhausted! When will it improve? Any tips on how to turn thnigs around?

Oooh...I see you have started a new thread (see my comments to you on the other one)

As I said - this can be a typical newborn thing that changes by itself. Sleeping all day is not good though for any baby - he needs to be awake and feeding a lot day and night. Soreness needs to be checked out.

What is his weight? Is he pooing soft yellow poos several times a day? Are his nappies wet?

This is a really difficult time and I remember the shock of it. Your baby is really young at the moment and you really should try to sleep when they do and try and go with the flow for a while.

In a couple of weeks or so you could try waking the baby during the day a bit if they have slept for more than 2-3 hours and offering feeds then, though by a month old or so you will probably find they are more awake during the day anyway.

If they are - use that and make sure you offer a feed when they wake-up even if they don't seem to be asking for it. If they are not interested they will soon let you know .

Over time this will get better though I do know how exhausting it is.
