Breast feeding and soaps

Just a thought;
I don't recall ever seeing a mum breastfeed on any of the soaps...
Do they?

Can you tell I'm spending a lot of time breast feeding and watching soaps?!

In Neighbours, Sonya did, including in public in Charlies, provoking a complaint

Maria and Kylie in Coronation Street both breastfed their babies, but I can't remember it was shown or just mentioned.

And I think Tina did, before handing over the baby she carried as surrogate.

In emmerdale, Viv Hope kicked off when Nicola breastfed her baby in the cafe. I think, anyway, it was a few years ago!

Ooh, I thought this thread was about washing one's boobs with soap :-)

I noticed this with TV shows and films generally. I got a bit on my soapbox about how it might help normalise it a bit more to see it, but then thought filming a BF scene would probably be harder if it's not key to the plot.

So sad that this normal natural thing is hidden/made into a big deal

Kylie did for a short time on Corrie. I was however annoyed that they showed baby upstairs asleep from very young.

American shows have a lot of bfing, er and friends both even Carol feeding twins in er.
