London LC? Was it something I said?

So, when I first had my baby last summer, we had TT issues, etc etc. HCP basically cut us loose and said nope no problem. EVERYONE (mumsnet, HV, local LC, etc) said to contact Ann Dobson.

I emailed, texted, phoned. Not all at the same time...just as she would ignore one I'd go to the next. Nothing. NEVER got back to me.

Now we're at 7.5 months and feeding problems have arisen again, involving a tremendous amount of pain and my LCs recommended that I contact...Ann Dobson.

And again, no response.

Am I missing something here? Was it something I said? I really don't understand. :\

Are LCs/TT specialists regulated in any way? I just think that this kind of behaviour is appalling when new mothers are so vulnerable!

It's nothing you said, she used to travel and snip for about £170... Plenty of follow up but now ooop north where I am you can't contract with her directly, she will only see you after you have paid for a referral through a private group (you want me to pay for a session to confirm what I know then a referral?hmm, I did and shouldn't have). Then she snips charging more for less with hard to access follow up. I was happy to find the nct bfcs - I think she is just busy.
