Breast lump

Very happily ebf my 3 month Dd1 but I've noticed a lump in my right breast over the past few weeks. It feels a bit like the general lumpiness you get when engorged, but is only the size of a pea and doesn't hurt. I assumed it was related to bf but it hasn't gone away. I'm going to the doctors tomorrow but I'm starting to get a bit freaked out - anyone else had anything similar which turned out ok? No horror stories please, I'm pretty tired and a bit scared Sad

I had something like it that turned out to be a galactocele - basically, a milk-filled cyst. The key thing was that it was painless, but otherwise it was a pea-sized, rock hard lump that softened a bit after really thorough feeds. It went away after several weeks.

You're doing the right thing going to your GP, though. Smile
