Obviously breastfeeding uses calories (although my body has yet to see the evidence!)and the release of oxytocin(is that the right name of the hormone?) can make you feel quite relaxed after b/f. But does it drain your energy reserves? I am hoping that the answer is yes, then at least I will know once I stop I can look forward to feeling a bit more lively iykwim. Ds is 8mnths and I am planning to go on for a bit longer.
Anyone know ??
