well last night hubby got booted out into boys bedroom on campbed. i put orlaiths basket right next to my bed and fed her at 9:30pm she fussed alot but finally fed. she then fell asleep, so i went to bed too. she woke at 12:30, 2am, 4 am then 7:15am. each time i fed her she fussed less. each time she went straight back to sleep. no constant crying. i also changed her nappy when she finished feeding then put her back on and each time she did feed abit more. her next feed was 10:30 and now again at 12:30. after her 10:30 feed she was still fussy and screamed, she was on and off breast constntly. i lay her in herbasket and noticed a big white patch right at back of her cheek near where the jaws meet. i rang gp who said its thrush and gave us daktarin. i have applied that and the difference in her behaviour is tremendous. shes happy to sit and watch me. i am amazed. could this be the problem all along?? sore mouth so not feeding long enough etc??

LM - are they treating you for thrush as well as your DD? Only when I had thrush they had been treating DD for a week then I got it so it then lasted for 2 wks.

Just a thought,

Lucy
DD 6 months old
