irregular periods while breast-feeding - normal?

My 12 month old has one breast-feed a day first thing in the morning. This has been the case now for about 10 weeks. I breast fed her exclusively for just over 8 months and then spent a couple of months phasing out breast feeding by dropping one feed every 2 -3 weeks. I had my first period a couple of weeks after gettting down to one feed a day and then another 32 days later. it is now day 37 and still no sign of period (i'm not pregnant!)Could the fact that i am still breast-feeding (albeit once a day) mean that my periods are irregular?

Even if you are not b-feeding can it still take a while for your periods to return to normal?

Also, can someone please define what is considered a 'regular' cycle? That is how regular do your periods need to be to be considered regular?

I bf exclusively till 5 months but my periods returned a 4m. My friend fed for 14m and her periods did not return till she had stopped. I now have a coil and am still feeding (ds 1 on Fri!) and have no idea when I'm about to have a period! I think it's a mix of coil and bf. I think it varies from woman to woman so I really wouldn't even give it a second thought till you have stopped feeding.
As for cycle, I think normal is considered something between 25-33 but I'm not 100%. I know it's quite a big jump anyway, not quite "normal" really IYSWIM!

DD breastfet till 18months old, and my period returned when she was 9 months old. Ds (1 on saturday) is feeding at the moment and I've had not a flicker of a period.......I keep buying pregnancy tests in case I blinked and missed it!

DS will turn 4 months next Monday. My lochia only ended properly around week 12, and today (week 17), it's returned. Would I classify this as my first period?

Pretty sure that's normal
