Aptamil equivalent overseas?

We're going on holiday and I'd like to know if any of the formula brands are the same but a different brand to Aptamil. We use both for baby and toddler, and I don't want to fill my luggage with formula if I can pick up something similar there. Nervous that it might be completely different flavour and annoy them both.

Aptamil is made by Milupa, which is part of Numico. You could google and see which other formulas are made by the same corp. internationally - Cow & Gate, for example, is the same company.

PS where are you going? I think you're more likely to find consistency / equivalents in the EU and maybe the USA.

If you are flying, I think you can phone Boots at the airport and order Infant Formula to pick up once you have gone through security etc...that way you don't have to fill your suitcase up with formula (especially good if your baby is on the ready-made stuff).
I've heard that Formula abroad is much more expensive than it is over here in the UK.

Just be aware that even though they have same main manufacturer the making process might be different and bb may not adjust to it. One of my charges went to France with family and they started using the French made aptimal/milupa and bb started throwing up milk and becoming unsettled and they had to get emergency UK formula. I've had this happen with quite a few of my charges when traveling so now I either take enough for the holiday or get it delievered.
