When will it get easier?
I am exhausted!
He has never gone any longer than 2.5 hours between feeds, I absolutely adore feeding him but he is like my forever newborn and I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. His weight gain is amazing, I guess he is catching up after a considerable weight loss when he was first born. He is averaging 11.5 oz a week (born 2.9kg at 35 weeks, last weight at 7 weeks actual age was 4.45kg).
I can't co sleep and feed him lying down as I have small breasts and his latch is still a work in progress.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Can't answer your question but wanted to say you are not alone. DD is 8wk old too and feeding like your LO. She was born at 39+6 weighing 2.8kg and still is only 3.5kg so you have done really well to get your LO to put on the weight he has.

She is just starting to road out feed at night to 3 or 4hrs in the last week but 2hrs during the day is good for us except when we are out in the car/buggy which seem to send her to sleep so we get a bit longer.

So no real answer but just wanted to say you are not alone is this almost constant feeding.

It really depends on the baby. I hate to say it but don't get your hopes up that the time between feeds will increase. My 6 month old ebf baby normally only lasts about 2 hours between feeds. Day and night.

Not all babies at 4 months mine slept through a few times (no feeds) for over 8 hours so it depends on the baby.
She did go back to feeding in the night though.

Dd and Ds were both going doing a good 6 hour stretch by 6 weeks but were not prem like this Lo.
He has thrown me by coming early and it has been quite daunting. Here's hoping we'll see an improvement soon.
From what I've read, you have to go by their adjusted age when it comes to longer stretches at night.
Also, he has had so many growth spurts, completely different to Dd and Ds, they were textbook.

It was hourly last night Sad (we live in Asia). It's getting worse no better.
Also, I wake up feeling so anxious which I think is because of no sleep.
