Breastfed 5 month old is waking 2-4 times a night for feeds still, us this normal? Should he be sleeping longer between feeds by now or is this pretty standard?

Pretty normal when my DD was that age and not unheard of now at 7 months but usually 1-2 times per night.

Everyone I know or speak to seems to have a babt that sleeps through!

My 6 month old is still waking every 2.5 hours. I'm shattered and hoping he'll start going longer between feeds. No sign yet though ??

That's pretty normal. My 10 m dd still wakes 3 times. Don't worry all babies are different x

Cakeismymaster · 31/01/2014 10:23

My nearly 5 month old is the same

leedy · 31/01/2014 12:52

Totally normal, sadly.

My 7mo is still waking 2-3 times a night. Her big sister (who was also EBF) was only waking once at 4mo and slept through from 6mo...

Let's just say it's a good job she's very cute - must be an evolutionary thing.

My 9 month old wakes up to 6 times for BF still, has slept through twice since birth.

My 5.5 month old is exactly the same Hmm

Thinking of starting to combination feed so DH can help out at weekends. I'm on my knees!

Yep my 6 mo wakes generally every hour for a little feed, most I ever get is 2 hours, am absolutely exhausted
