14 week old EBF - how many feeds a day?

Just as the title said really-how often does your 14 week old feed?
My DS seems to have moved on to a 4 hourly pattern and so is having 6 feeds in 24 hours - does this sound right?

I know it all depends on how much they are getting at each feed but just trying to get an idea what other babies are doing?

My first DC feed constantly, almost hourly do this is a bit of a change for me!

My 19 week old feeds almost hourly, but sleeps for long stretches at night (mainly!). I think it can vary hugely but so long as he/she is happy and gaining weight I wouldn't worry about it too much, they'll soon let you know when they're hungry!

Haha that's true. I'll need to take him to be weighed then.

My 15 week old feeds every 1-2 hours during the day but has a 8-9 hour stretch of sleep at night.

12wo. Eleventy squillion feeds.

More seriously, in the last 24h, 7.30-8.30, 2.30, 5.00, 7.30, 9.00, 11.30, 12.30, 2.00, 4.00. So nine, of which two were "both sides" whoppers.

He was born big and is growing fast, following his line. Averages about 12oz a week weight gain.

Sorry, so six big feeds would probably be equivalent. Mine snacks a bit between bigger feeds, esp if woken by fucking double glazing salesmen or by boisterous siblings.

My 13wo feeds every 1-2 hours if we are in the house, every 3-4 if we're out the house (he seems to fall asleep whenever we walk through the front door, eventually wakes to feed and then KOs again!). He sleeps between 6 and 8 hours a night and is ebf.
