Colief Instructions.....

DS is 6 weeks and formula fed. HV has advised Colief for Lactose intolerance - the instructions say to make bottle, let it cool then put the drops in, shake it and then wait half an hour before giving the milk to DS (I assume that this gives the Colief time to work)..my problem is that after half an hour the milk is cold and DS wont drink it, also he wont wait 30 mins for a feed, he only roots for a few mins before descending into screaming the house down.......can I give it to him after a few mins as long as I shake it constantly? Any suggestions?

Not sure on the co life instructions sorry. Just wanted to check, has he definitely got lactose intolerance. Has the HV referred you to a Paed and has he been properly tested and diagnosed?

You can make up a bottle, quick cool it to warm add 2 drops of colief then put the bottle in the fridge for 4 hours. Then you can warm the bottle to drinking temp.
Colief is a faff but worked very well for my DS's colic.
